Shipping and Delivery
The estimated ship date provided to you with your order confirmation represents typical production lead times and transit for general planning purposes. However, the production, shipping, and delivery of your purchase may vary depending on availability of materials, customization, the shipment method best-suited for your purchase, and the location of delivery. Galante Design Studio will provide an emailed notification with tracking and other delivery information once the order is shipped.

Third-party Shipping Disclosure
Galante Design Studio orders will be shipped through a reputable, third-party logistics provider, who will handle the shipping and delivery of the product on behalf of the Studio; essentially managing the shipping process and providing the shipping and tracking information for product deliveries. Galante Design Studio shall in no way assume the responsibility or liability of the shipping and delivery service.
At checkout, you may choose to pick up your order at our studio in Cambridge, MA, U.S.A., or select delivery at a regional, flat-rate shipping charge. All orders are shipped from our studio in Cambridge, MA, to all 50 U.S. States, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and all 13 Canadian Provinces. At the Studio’s discretion, we may utilize small package carriers such as UPS and FedEx or LTL freight carriers for deliveries. These deliveries are made to the front door only and do not include any installation or packaging removal. Shipping insurance, if available, is optional at the buyer’s (your) discretion only.
International Delivery
For deliveries outside the U.S. and Canada, international customers should contact Galante Design Studio by email at design@galantedesignstudio.com to coordinate international shipping.
Damage Claims of Shipped and Delivered Product
All products are inspected for quality assurance prior to packaging for shipment. Upon delivery, you are responsible for inspecting all products for visible damage and, immediately upon discovery, must provide pictures and a description of damage(s) via email to design@galantedesignstudio.com, with attention to the Customer Service Department. Damage claims must be made within 5 calendar days of the receipt of delivery or shall otherwise be considered invalid. Any damage to the shipping container must be documented with the freight carrier at the time of delivery. Failure to do so may invalidate your damage claim if damage is a result of the carrier’s negligence or mishandling of the packaged product. Damage to the packaging alone, however, does not constitute damage to the product and will not be considered valid for claim purposes without evidence of physical damage to your purchase(s).
Purchase replacement and/or reimbursement of purchase resulting from damage caused in shipping is limited to the carrier’s liability coverage policy or, if applicable, to the coverage limit of shipping insurance purchased. Funds issued as a result of claim(s) brought against the shipping/carrier company or shipping insurance policy shall be applied to the cost of replacement and/or reimbursement of purchase without exception, including but not limited to return, replacement or production, and re-shipping costs. Galante Design Studio shall not be responsible for replacement or reimbursement costs for products damaged or lost in shipping.
